I'm always searching for new pizza places locally as well as when I travel. I've seen Decaro's before but could never catch them open. They crossed my mind last night so I decided to order a pizza and chicken salad to go. I'm glad I did. The salad was amazing with plenty of chicken. The pizza was great as well. I like St. Louis style pizza which this is! The service was great! Everyone smiled and was courteous. I'll definitely go back.

The pizza was excellent. Quick service and super friendly. It feels more modern inside than I'd expected from the look on the outside.

This place is a great option for a quality, low-cost dinner out in Alton. Thanks to Yelp, I convinced my mother in law to try out this new spot and we weren't disappointed. Parking is plentiful, the inside is spacious and can accommodate groups of 2 to 20, service is extremely attentive, and the prices are insanely decent. My sizable serving of Chicken Parm was only $12 and I was stuffed by the time I finished. I would describe the food quality as your mother's home cooking; certainly not upscale, but comforting and delicious. Will definitely return for another family dinner sometime.

The staff were great. Food hub not so much. The app said a confirmation would show 15-20 minutes later. No confirmation showed up. Food was good.

Food was excellent! Waitress was polite and attentive. Cute little private owned authentic Italian Restaurant. On this occasion I had the Risotto Balls as an appetizer, the Chicken Parmesan as my main dish with a side salad with the house dressing. Really loved the house dressing and homemade crouton that came with it. Will definitely be back again in the future

Decaro's serves up some delicious St Louis style pizza in Alton. It is a 5 minute longer drive to pick-up my carry-out, but it is worth the extra short distance. I like that they do not make their pizzas round, they are rectangular. So cutting the pizza into squares, makes more sense. My favorite go to toppings are Italian Sausage and Jalapeños. Decaro's is not stingy, they give me plenty of both, especially my jalapeños. The jalapeños are so fresh, thick slices that have a crunch when you bite into them on your square slice of pizza. Their square is truly beyond compare. To accompany my pizza, I choose a Decaro's House Salad. Which is a mix of Romaine and Iceberg topped with ham, Volpi salami, shredded provel, parmesan, black olive, tomato, onion and pepperoncini served with Decaro's Creamy Italian dressing. When I order pizza, I get a small, but when I enjoy an order of wings, I go large. I've dined in at a table, at the bar and countless carry-outs and I can say, the customer service is always friendly and attentive.

This place is a little Italian gem in Alton! The presentation of food is outstanding. The quality of the food is equally outstanding. The service was excellent. Overall, this is a place me and my wife will definitely go back to.

Great food in a good location. I came here with my family and we're seated with a great view of the city. We were greeted promptly and had a good experience overall. I really liked the baked mostacciolli.it was a good portion, Tandy sauce, and perfectly cooked noodles. I appreciated that they had a great craft beer selection. My family enjoyed their food as well.
